This piece s made of only one material, paper. After ripping all the pages out of a book, I turned the pages into a clay like pulp that I was able to sculpt with. Out of this pulp, I created a girl. A girl with slight features but no eyes. This piece has no specific meaning. To me, its a girl coming out of a book, almost pushing herself out, face first. But to someone else, it could mean something totally different. It is fully open to interpretation.
