Lobotomies have been a staple in psychology’s history since its inception. Given to those deemed unwell for society. For my piece, I made punk man who has received a lobotomy to try to change him, and have him be normal. The cracks throughout the piece represent his person shattering, him losing his sense of self as his brain is scrambled. The hair style itself is called liberty spikes. For irony's sake, he has those liberty spikes, saying hes free, yet he is not, and is now trapped in his own body, unable to be himself. There was many trial and error moments while constructing the head, but in the end, the final product is exactly what I wished for it to be.
